The Business
Startup Garage exists to expand Christ-centered entrepreneurship. They host events nearly every week, completely free, creating space for founders to learn, connect, and grow. It's a high-output organization with a huge heart and a small team. The Problem
Julie, the VP of Operations, was overwhelmed. Managing weekly events, communications, and marketing was consuming her time, and there was no system to keep things organized. Important tasks were slipping through the cracks. Experienced team members were stuck doing work that didn't require their expertise. What We Did
We embedded with the team. For a couple of months, we ran their social media: designs, copy, email campaigns, the full scope. That wasn't just a service play. It gave us a front-row seat to the patterns and bottlenecks in their operations. From there, we built systems to centralize communication, organize workflows, and streamline how events go from planned to promoted. We built a centralized platform and onboarded an intern to handle the day-to-day execution so the VP of Operations could stop doing intern-level tasks and focus on what actually needed her attention. The Results
- Operations centralized into one organized system
- Communication streamlined across the team
- VP of Operations freed from repetitive work
- Intern onboarded and equipped to handle day-to-day execution independently
